Descrizione:
Francia, 1944: Pierre Brossard - uno dei pochi ufficiali che fa parte della Milizia, un gruppo parapoliziesco controllato dal governo di Vichy - si rende responsabile dell'uccisione di sette membri ebrei della Resistenza. Dopo la liberazione, Brossard va sotto processo ed è condannato per i suoi crimini, ma sfugge alla cattura e anni dopo viene graziato. 1992: la vita di Brossard viene sconvolta da un'aggressione e dal fatto che una nuova legge permetterà di riportare davanti alla giustizia i criminali di guerra che non hanno scontato le loro condanne.
