Descrizione:
Il Colosseo, con un’altezza di 52 metri, una circonferenza di oltre 500 metri e una capacità di 50.000 posti a sedere, è un vero miracolo architettonico. Scopriamo come gli antichi Romani riuscirono a realizzarlo con i materiali e le tecniche ingegneristiche dell’epoca e come mettevano in scena spettacoli grandiosi e complessi, come le naumachie. Il filmato, sfruttando la forza del 3D, con efficaci ricostruzioni storiche, ci riporta indietro nel tempo, all’inaugurazione del Colosseo, per svelarci i segreti di una grandiosa “macchina” dello spettacolo. La cerimonia di apertura, durata 100 giorni consecutivi, esaltò il progetto voluto fortemente dall’imperatore Vespasiano e portato a compimento dai successori Tito e Domiziano. Una visita unica e irripetibile, alla scoperta della storia e dei retroscena legati alla costruzione dell’anfiteatro più famoso di tutti i tempi e dei segreti che hanno reso memorabili i giochi nell’arena.
