La cittadina di Plymouth, in Massachusetts, è sconvolta da una terribile tragedia avvenuta all’interno di un centro commerciale durante il Black Friday. Un anno dopo, durante i festeggiamenti del Thanksgiving, un misterioso e feroce serial killer comincia a torturare e uccidere la popolazione locale, seguendo un grottesco piano di vendetta e prendendosela soprattutto con un gruppo di ragazzi, che evidentemente nascondono a loro volta uno scomodo segreto.
