Originariamente intitolato "We Will Rock You", questo film è stato lanciato per la prima volta al Festival di Cannes nel maggio 1983, come solo i QUEEN potevano fare. Fu poi distribuito in Nord America (settembre 1984), diventando il primo film dei QUEEN in concerto disponibile in commercio.
