Descrizione:
Per sfuggire ai pirati dell'aria la giovane Sheeta cade da un aereo, ma si salva levitando nell'aria e atterrando dolcemente tra le braccia di Pazu, un giovane minatore che decide di prendersi cura di lei. Mentre si susseguono i tentativi di catturare Sheeta e la misteriosa pietra che la ragazza porta al collo, cresce la consapevolezza che Sheeta nasconda dei segreti che vanno ben oltre quel che l'apparenza sembri indicare, legati a una misteriosa città nel cielo, Laputa, di cui si favoleggia l'esistenza.
