Descrizione:
È trascorso un millennio da quando una serie di guerre, culminata nelle esplosioni termonucleari dei Sette Giorni del Fuoco, ha alterato l'ecosistema mondiale. Il Mare della Rovina si è espanso drammaticamente, occupando i regni degli uomini e invadendo la Terra con i suoi insetti giganti e le sue spore velenose. Solo pochi territori sono rimasti indenni, ma i loro abitanti continuano incessantemente a combattere tra loro. In un regno neutrale e pacifico, la Valle del Vento, vive la principessa Nausicaa, dotata di un potere extrasensoriale che le permette di comunicare con gli animali e con i temibili insetti Ohm. Nausicaa è convinta che la soluzione non sia attaccare gli insetti, bensì comprendere il segreto alla base del Mare della Rovina.
