Descrizione:
Il piccolo Artu', che fa lo sguattero nel castello di un Sir inglese, incontra il buon mago Merlino, che conosce quasi tutto il futuro e sa che Artu' sarà re. Senza dir niente al ragazzo, il mago lo prepara alla sua futura responsabilità, insegnandogli ad usare il cervello con saggezza, e per questo lo trasforma in diversi animali. Gli insegna anche che il bene deve avere il sopravvento sul male, vincendo con l'astuzia e il suo sapere una cattiva maga. Quando il ragazzo è pronto per regnare, gli si presenta l'occasione per estrarre la spada dalla roccia e viene proclamato re.
