Sei uomini e due donne lavorano tranquilli sul fondo dell'oceano, sono alle dipendenze di una multinazionale ed estraggono minerali a bordo di un sofisticato sottomarino. Durante il lavoro si imbattono nel relitto di una nave russa e immediatamente si verificano inspiegabili e terribili mutazioni.
