Descrizione:
Liza è una giovane archeologa canadese che si reca in Sicilia per compiere degli scavi in un sito: rimane affascinata da un monastero medievale, posto in cima alla collina del paese Caltabellotta. La leggenda che circola a Santa Rosalia, narra che quattro suore e la madre superiora furono crocifisse nelle catacombe del convento cinquecento anni prima poiché dedite al satanismo e ad atti sessuali sfrenati. Scoperta la verità, Liza inizierà ad avere incubi e stati di trance rivivendo su se stessa le reali vicende accadute secoli prima; intanto per il paese superstizioso e diffidente la vendetta lanciata dalla maledizione delle suore si compie nei modi più terrificanti
