Descrizione:
Quattro amici d’infanzia del quartiere Lower Ninth Ward di New Orleans ritornano dopo l’uragano Katrina solo per trovare le loro case devastate, senza lavoro e senza aiuto da parte della FEMA. Finite le opzioni a disposizione, si rivolgono a malincuore a un gangster locale, che offre loro una possibilità di ribaltare la loro situazione – organizzando una pericolosa rapina nel cuore della città. Quando il lavoro si mette male, gli amici si ritrovano in fuga, braccati da due detective inarrestabili e da un signore della guerra del quartiere che pensa che loro abbiano sottratto i soldi della rapina.
