Descrizione:
La storia vera di Franz Jägerstätter, un contadino austriaco che visse nel borgo di Sankt Radegund: fervente cattolico, nel 1938 all'arrivo dei nazisti fu l'unico del suo paese a votare contro la Anschluss, l'annessione alla Germania di Hitler. Scoppiata la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, nel 1943 si rifiutò di arruolarsi nell'Armata dell'Asse e per questo fu giustiziato.
