Descrizione:
Jean Seberg, diva della New Wave francese, alla fine degli anni Sessanta entra nel mirino del Cointelpro, il programma di sorveglianza segreto dell'Fbi. La causa è da ricercare nel coinvolgimento politico e romantico dell'attrice con l'attivista dei diritti civili Hamik Jalal: distruggere lei avrebbe significato per i federali assestare un duro colpo ai danni del movimento Black Power. Jack Solomon, giovane e ambizioso agente, ha il compito di sorvegliarla e seguirla, ignorando come il destino della Seberg si sarebbe poi intrecciato pericolosamente con il suo.
