A Brooklyn i poliziotti non sono tutti dei santi. C'è chi si è infiltrato troppo a lungo tra gli spacciatori e ora si è affezionato a quel criminale in cerca di redenzione che il distretto vuole incastrare, c'è chi non ha mai fatto nulla durante i suoi anni di servizio ma proprio nel primo giorno di pensione decide di agire da vero poliziotto e, infine, chi di fronte all'esigenza di comprare una casa nuova per evitare che la muffa della vecchia uccida moglie e figli è pronto ad uccidere e rubare.
