Descrizione:
Harper, studente di legge e bravo ragazzo, sospetta che il patrigno Vincent sia responsabile dell'incidente d'auto che ha mandato sua madre in coma. Annegando i dolori in uno squallido bar di Los Angeles si imbatte in Johnny Ray, che in cambio di 20 mila dollari si prenderebbe cura a suo modo di Vincent. Arrabbiato, ubriaco e in cerca di vendetta, Harper accetta la proposta, trascorrendo il resto della serata con Johnny. Al mattino, si risveglia con ricordi confusi della notte precedente quando alla sua porta si presenta Johnny, accompagnato dalla fidanzata Cherry, per portare a termine il piano.
